My session rate is $300 per 60-minute session for individual or couples therapy.

A card is securely kept on file and charged automatically after each appointment for ease and consistency. HSA/FSA cards may be used, and an invoice is provided for your records.

I am an out-of-network provider, meaning clients pay directly. If you wish, I can provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement.

Please note that submitting a superbill allows your insurance company to request limited clinical information to process your claim. I’m always happy to discuss this so you can make an informed decision that feels right for you.

  Your treatment information, including diagnosis, is not shared with insurance companies, offering an added layer of privacy and discretion.

  Your therapy is guided by you and your therapist, not insurance requirements, allowing flexibility in the pace, focus, and length of care.

• No Mandatory Diagnosis

  Insurance requires a formal mental health diagnosis. With private pay, you can seek support for life transitions, stress, or personal growth without a diagnosis becoming part of your medical record.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. This allows me to offer care that is guided by your goals, not insurance requirements, and to prioritize privacy, depth, and flexibility in our work together.

Insurance companies often require a diagnosis, ongoing progress reports, or access to clinical information to determine coverage. By working privately, your sessions remain confidential, and we can move at a pace that best supports you.

If you choose to submit a superbill for possible reimbursement, please be aware that doing so may allow your insurance company to request clinical information as part of their review. I will always discuss this with you so you can make an informed decision.

Many clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds for therapy services. I recommend checking with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of services for clients who are not using insurance, as required by federal law. You will receive this estimate before beginning services and may request an updated version at any time.

Shore & Soul Counseling is based in Indiana and provides therapy exclusively online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

I work with adults and couples throughout the state of Indiana, allowing you to access therapy from wherever you feel most comfortable, your home, office, or another private space.

All sessions at Shore & Soul Counseling are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform (Sessions Health). After scheduling, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a private link to join your session, no downloads required.

Before your first appointment, you’ll complete intake forms and consent documents electronically. Sessions are held in a confidential, professional setting designed to offer the same level of care as in-person therapy.

Your first session is a calm, welcoming space so you can show up just as you are and begin to feel understood and seen. We’ll start by discussing your goals, history, and what feels most important for you to share right now. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about the process. This session is less about diving into the deepest work and more about creating a sense of safety, clarity, and collaboration. Most clients leave feeling a mix of relief, a sense that something meaningful has begun, and that they are no longer navigating it alone.

This is focused, high-level care for those ready for lasting change. The work is thoughtful, intentional, and unfolds over time.
